ah, those were the days, the flower children
I love this movie. It was bright. Even if many of my peers say it's BS and too sterotyped, I love it. I am from Japan, I came to this country in the sixties and used to laugh at the flower children with the dirty hair and dirty toes and ribbons tied around their dirty toes, but they were the counter culture because everybody was being hypocritical and lying to everyone, so they rebelled. Those were the days. It was good to go back. The characters are vital and passionate, the music is beautiful. What a wonderful portrait of this time.
