Broken è la storia di amore e odio fra hope (SPERANZA) e will (VOLONTA') e il lato oscuro della medaglia dell'american dream. perchè ad ogni persona che sfonda e riesce centrare il suo sogno ne corrispondono centinaia che, con le loro lacrime e delusioni, lastricano la strada verso la città degli angeli. un film nella sua essenza totalmente libero e indipendente, ma sostenuto da una struttura elegante e curata, a partire dai brani dei Brian Jonestown Massacre per arrivare all'atmosfera notturna e onirica che ricorda terribilmente mulholland drive e alle prove di 2 dei migliori attori 'non venduti' di hollywood: heather graham, hope, bellissima, fragile e credibile; e jeremy sisto, la miglior faccia su cui un sentimento che voglia essere notato possa mostrarsi.

p.s. è un film in cui la droga ha un ruolo importante, ma evitate di vederlo predisposti ad un clone di trainspotting, perchè il voto 1 dato da gente disinformata questo film non se lo merita proprio.
