THE DAY LINCOLN WAS SHOT is an exceptional made-for-tv biopic based on the book by Jim Bishop. It depicts the personal and political lives of everyone surrounding the infamous assasination of one of the most loved and popular presidents in U.S. history. The cast includes: Rob Morrow (NUMB3RS) as JOHN WILKES BOOTHE, Lance Henriksen (ALIENS) as PRESIDENT LINCOLN, and Donna Murphy (STAR TREK: INSURRECTION) as MRS. LINCOLN. Others in the cast are Wil Wheaton, Jaimz Woolvett, Jeremy Sisto, Jean Louisa Kelly and Titus Welliver. The movie originally aired in April of 1998 on TNT.
