OTHER TITLES: NUNCA DIGAS LO QUE PIENSAS (Spanish for YOU NEVER SAY WHAT YOU'RE REALLY THINKING!); THIS TIME IS FOR ME (Japanese Title)
This is the infamous Leonardo DiCaprio/Tobey Maguire film that was made way back before they become household names. It is directed by R.D.Robb, who also worked with Jeremy on ONE POINT O and other projects. I watched this film back in 1999 on a pirated copy from a friend and I didn't like it very much. I am willing to watch it again if it ever becomes available in the USA, to see if my opinion changes. I like a lot of the people in the cast: DiCaprio, Maguire, Amber Benson, Marissa Ribisi, Meadow Sisto, and the others who I can't remember right now. I just didn't like the story very much. I thought it was boring. Again, it could be because I was watching mainly because of Jeremy and was let down by his 10 second cameo. His sister Meadow is a good actress, but even she didn't bring life to this film. DON'S PLUM is available in Europe at this time and there is no word if it will ever be released in the USA.
