KIDNAPPED is a 13 part series that debuted on NBC in the fall of 2006 in the USA. Although the series was short lived in North America, it was purchased later for worldwide broadcast by the AXN and RTL networks in Latin America, Asia, and parts of Europe, and even became a favorite in the USA only after being released to DVD. It centers on the abduction of a fifteen year old boy and the efforts to rescue him. The serialized story follows in the pattern of hit shows like 24 and PRISON BREAK.

10/03/08: According to Amazon.de, KIDNAPPED: 13 TAGE HOFFNUNG (KIDNAPPED: 13 DAYS OF WAITING) will be on DVD beginning October 16, 2008!

Also, according to several DVD retailer sites in Switzerland, including Buch.ch, and Thalia.ch, KIDNAPPED will be on DVD beginning October 24, 2008!
