NIGHTMARES & DREAMSCAPES is an 8 part miniseries based on a collection of stories from King. One of the segments, THE FIFTH QUARTER, stars Jeremy Sisto and Samantha Mathis and is supposed to be about an ex-con named Willie Evans (Sisto) who risks his family's and his own safety to hunt for a deceased friend's buried treasure.
The other stories are:
BATTLEGROUND, starring William Hurt, about a man who ends up fighting against toy soldiers.
UMNEY'S LAST CASE, a story about a writer who meets the character he creates starring William H. Macy
YOU KNOW THEY GOT ONE HELL OF A BAND, starring Kim Delaney and Steven Weber, about a couple who blunders into a town occupied by legendary DEAD musicians
THE END OF THE WHOLE MESS, starring Ron Livingston and Henry Thomas, about two brothers who invent a solution to world chaos
AUTOPSY ROOM 4 starring Richard Thomas, one that especially looks terrifying, about a man who is believed to be dead, but isn't!
CROUCH END starring Eion Bailey and Claire Forlani, about another couple in a strange town
THE ROAD VIRUS HEADS NORTH, starring Tom Berenger
