NOW YOU KNOW

Songs from the film

The music of this indie film is very understated. That is to say it is very good music but mostly lingers quietly in the background for the most part, only to enhance scenes. There are exceptions of course, the most notable one being the controversially hilarious scene involving a beautiful woman in a bikini, a lawnmower and an unfortunate little dog. The music chosen for that scene is an interestingly crafted heavy metal song by an Israeli rock group called Zino & Tommy. The R&B flavored rock tunes of Snuzz and Bus Stop, and the soulful voice of Stephen Ashbrook are other standouts. The composers of the instrumental guitar music are Matt Sorum and Lanny Cordola (of Velvet Revolver, Guns N Roses, The Cult and other groups), who also did the songs The Blame Game and The Forgiving Kind (the song from the movie's trailer). The music of NOW YOU KNOW fits with the film's funny, mischievious "sex-comedy" and prankster tones, but also enhances its gentler romantic side.

Song: The Blame Game by Matt Sorum, from the album Hollywood Zen (opening credits/bachelor party, wma format)

Song: The Goodbye by Snuzz, (the scene in the Bootlegger bar, where Biscuit talks about the difference between dogs and cats, in mp3 format)

Song: Lose Myself by Zino & Tommy (lawnmower/sun-goddess/chihuahua scene! mp3 format)

Song: Good Friend by Stephen Ashbrook (Jeremy and Gil talk in Gil's car about being single/having fun vs. having someone who really loves you, wma format)

Song: Memory Of Me by Shaking Tree (closing credits, mp3 format)

Music: The above is the guitar instrumental music that some fans have asked about, featured both in the film and on the Region 1 DVD menu
