So I was surfing the web just now, still really happy and excited over having participated on a film with Jeremy Sisto and Michael Goorjian, and I came across info on this film, which I remembered reading things about some 7 or 8 years ago. The film is called OAKLAND UNDERGROUND, and it is another of Goorjian's directing efforts. It appears to be a dark comedy or "mockumentary" about "cult"ure in Oakland, CA.
I thought it might have been shelved or maybe not even completed. But now it seems the film will be out soon!!!

05/12/07: I got a reply on the email I sent in April asking when the DVD will be released, and they replied that it will be out in about a month and a half or so!
Go to the official site and email request a copy, as it appears the DVD will be distributed exclusively through this site!
