Other Movies/Projects

This is what you would call the "Did you know?" page!

Jeremy has been in an astonishing 60 plus films in his 16 years as a film actor. This doesn't even include all the plays he did as a child, nor the stage productions he's done as an adult. And then you have to think of all those obscure and short films too (Like MARICHECK DUGALLY for instance!!!) Well, us fans would probably agree that he could be in 100 movies EVERY YEAR and we'd still be begging for more. Here is the latest info that I could get on Jeremy's many M.I.A. films:

MANFAST---The only reason I've seen it is because I bought a UK DVD on Ebay. It is still unavailable in the USA, and there's no word at all about when it's going to be released.

OAKLAND UNDERGROUND---This film was shot some years ago. I read a few things about it in 1999 or 2000 but assumed it was shelved somewhere. Now there is an official site, saying the film is going to be distributed soon.

A CAT'S TALE---This is a family movie that was supposed to be released to DVD late last year, but we never saw that happen, and now there is no new info about it.

SOMETHING MORE---Nothing new on this film since it first appeared on the IMDb. I'm afraid it might have been permanently shelved. The same goes for:

LITTLE SAVANT GOES TO BUY MILK---This is a film that Jackson Nash directed. According to Jeanette, who spoke to a source close to Jeremy, LITTLE SAVANT was going to be cut and re-edited into a short film. Eric Michael Cole and Reedy Gibbs were costars. But the last I ever heard about this film was in 2004 or 2005.

ROBBING 'HEF---Directed by Devon Gummersall, who costarred with Jeremy in MEN NAMED MILO and DEAD & BREAKFAST, this was supposed to be about an attempt to steal a vintage Playboy magazine from the Hugh Hefner empire. But there is nothing I can find about it.

HOOK LINE AND SINKER---Not much is known about this one, except that Jeremy seems to be playing a guy who works for a gas station. I found a site with music from the film once, but that site is now vanished.

3 WOMEN OF PAIN---Directed by Marisa Ryan, this is another film you can find almost nothing about. It is supposed to be a short film, but that's all I know.

DRAGON KIN---This may have been a cartoon fantasy, but I am not sure. The cast included Meadow Sisto, Devon Gummersall, Padraic Aubrey and others. There was a site for a production company called Aurenya Productions, but that site disappeared, and I'm not even sure it represented the same "Dragon Kin" film.

TV Pilots

Jeremy was recently in the brilliant but short lived series KIDNAPPED. He preceded that with a recurring role on the HBO hit SIX FEET UNDER. Here are a few other TV shows Jeremy was almost on (and that we sadly might never see):

THE YOUNG AMERICANS...Jeremy decided to go with the Jesus miniseries instead. And that's okay right...I mean, can we imagine life without the Jesus miniseries???!!! Update: 10/29/04, some Jeremy fans have been able to acquire Jeremy's appearance in this short lived series.

Jeremy was also in the pilots for REAL LIFE (1998) and LOVELAND (2001 or 2002 I believe.) LOVELAND costarred Adam Busch, but the pilot didn't get picked up. Instead, another network bought LOVELAND, put together a new cast, and is now known as the hit comedy SCRUBS. This is according to Adam Busch's official site.

Stuff Jeremy was ALMOST in:

GROOVE...I have watched this film two times and I really LIKED it!!! It's a great indie film about two brothers at an all night raver. I liked the movie GO, but this one put GO to shame, big time!!! Denny Kirkwood did great in the role of Colin, but Jeremy came "this" close to having that role himself. According to the official site, Jeremy had actually been cast. I don't know what happened...but...oh what he would have done with that character!!!

DINNER RUSH...I don't know what happened with this one. He was going to play the role of "Duncan" but the role went to someone else.

PLAYING BY HEART...I'd forgotten this one. I remember anticipating seeing Jeremy play a guy named Malcolm, perhaps opposite Jay Mohr (Suicide Kings), but there was no Jeremy to be seen, so I must assume they cut him completely out of the film. It was still a good film, one of my favorites, but it would have been the cherry on the top of a delicious sundae to see Jeremy!!! : )~

Other films I remember Jeremy's name being mentioned in association with:

SESSIONS---Many years ago, around 1997 or 1998, I heard Jeremy was going to be in a film of this title. The only film on the IMDb is a short student film directed by a Charlene Rule, who entered it into the 2000 New York Expo Festival and won an award.

CONSPIRACY OF WEEDS---This film was listed on the IMDb for a brief time, then vanished. Years later, I searched and found that the film had been made, but the title was changed to TANGLED, and apparently Jeremy was not cast in it.

YOUNG MAN DRESSED IN SILVER (Never heard another peep about this one after the first blurb way back in 1996)

TOSSING THE RAG DOLL or something like that which was supposed to co-star Wes Bentley. It was a drama about a love triangle. Jeremy was playing a married man whose wife was fooling around on him with his buddy. This project was around in the year 1998 or '99 I believe.

AWAKE (now a Hayden Christensen film) about a man who is awake and aware through his heart surgery.

THE FAMILY---Now under the title HELTER SKELTER. Supposedly about Charles Manson's reign of terror. Jeremy Davies is in this film, but it appears that Sisto is not.

QUIET LIKE SLEEP---Directed by Abe Levy, this was about an alcoholic and his family trying to deal with the disease. I don't know what became of the film, or what role Jeremy played.

ONE OF OUR OWN---Another Abe Levy project, it was about couples who were trying to deal with family planning issues. The film was completed, but I don't think Jeremy ended up in it after all.

ZODIAC---I am not sure if this same project ended up being the current Jake Gylenhaal film, but you remember the article about Jeremy being a person of interest for the role of Detective Ken Marlowe. This was around 2005 I believe.

HIDEOUS MEN aka BRIEF INTERVIEWS WITH HIDEOUS MEN---Based on a bestselling book, this is a film I have read Jeremy's name associated with. Now it is on the IMDb as a completed film, but I don't see Jeremy's name in the cast, so it might mean he didn't get to be in it for one or another reason.

THE PRISONERS' DILEMMA---Costarring singer Usher Raymond. I saw one blurb somewhere in 2004 or so, and I never saw anything else about it. ********

VOICE WORK

Jeremy narrated a recent commercial for EXCEDRIN, but just hearing his voice probably takes away your worst headache!!!

AMERICAN DAD! A series that reminds me of FAMILY GUY and KING OF THE HILL. Jeremy appeared in the episode, IT'S GOOD TO BE THE QUEEN as Mitch, a strangely Christ-like pizza dude...

ANCIENT EGYPTIANS...This documentary miniseries aired in 2003 on The Learning Channel, and Jeremy narrated it. I have never seen it and am planning to asap.

Jeremy's wonderful voice was utilized in an advertisement for the MORGAN STANLEY Financial Company, but I have never seen this commercial on TV.

THE RUGRATS...He played a tall, bucktoothed blonde guy named Larry in a 1997 episode called ANGELICA ORDERS OUT.

DUCKMAN...1996?? In the episode WITH FRIENDS LIKE THESE, he played a guy named Bobby.

He voiced a radio DJ in 2 episodes of THE WILD THORNBERRYS (Vacant Lot and Stick Your Neck Out)

He appeared in the episode titled HAPPY LUAU TO YOU-AU from ROCKET POWER.

Most of the above cartoon shows appear on Nickelodeon. DUCKMAN has been shown on Comedy Central from time to time.
