I wasn't sure how much I'd like Jeremy in a science fiction story, but I really loved him in this!!! Jeremy costars with Brad Rowe and Nick Mancuso in this
cautionary look at a religious cult lead by a priest (Mancuso) who persuades Danny (Rowe), Tom (Sisto) and their girlfriends to give up their existence in the modern rat race and seek a more "peaceful" way of living...without TV, computers, tobacco or those other "vices" of modern civilization. The Father takes his new converts to a beautiful place high in the mountains, and for the first year or two, the fresh pine-scented air, preservative free food and no frills way of living is very appealing to Danny and Tom, and they are rejoicing in the fact that they are both about to become fathers, and that their children will be brought up in this peaceful mountain serenity rather than in the vile smog of the big city. But Father is not who he seems to be, as these poor souls are about to discover. I know this is really ridiculous sounding, but having spent two years of my life in a very regemented religious organization, I can relate to this story a lot!!!
