POPULATION/436

Fan Review by Michelle MacIssac, November 27, 2009

Jeremy Sisto plays an enumerator with the U.S. Census Bureau. The poor blighter is sent to a village stuck in time warp and before he knows what's happening, he is at the mercy of the fanatical religion the town is centred upon. They are a demented lot, obsessed with making certain the population doesn't decrease or increase, striving to keep things in accordance with God's will, at all costs.

Sisto is by far the best and most skilled in acting. It's A great suspense, though a little predictable in some spots. The Canadian actors and the lucious scenery make for a fun visual experience. Not a landmark mystery, but no doubt a good way to spend an hour and a half.
