POPULATION/436

Fan Review by Patsy

Wow! I really liked this one! Had a hard time believing that Fred Durst from the uber-annoying rap band Limp Biscut could act. I was prepared to pan this movie in spite of adoring Jeremy Sisto, but I ws really shocked at how well the entire cast acted.

Population 436 is about a very small town whose population never changes, ever. When a census bureau worker shows up to do a head-count, all hell breaks loose, but not all at once. It takes a while for this guy to realize what trouble he's in. By the time he does, it's too late. I will leave it at that.

Well, Jeremy Sisto is excellent as usual, but is he ever not excellent? Durst is surprising, as I said, and I hope he is done with music and goes on with acting. Most of the cast is made up of Canadian actors and the film was shot in beautiful Manitoba, Canada (I swear I want to move there someday!) The scenery is splendid, and the quaint prairie setting gives the movie a strange atmosphere that you can't decide is creepy or lovely.

If you are a fan of Jeremy Sisto, this is one I would highly recommend!
