 SWEET FLAME
This independent film is directed by Amy Hobby, and stars Mira Sorvino, Anne Meara, Henry Thomas, Jeremy Sisto, Dean Winters, Meagan Goode, and Loren Dean. It's reportedly about a quirky New York family whose Ma and Pa pharmacy is facing heavy competition from the big corporate chain that has moved into the neighborhood.

08/09/08: PlumTV has the FilmStock video about SWEET FLAME up and available to watch. The video is 15 mins. long, very detailed and informative, and includes scenes from the film, cast and plot info, and details about the hope of raising the necessary monies and getting the film completed. 06/30/08 SWEET FLAME was featured on "Filmstock" a program introducing new indie films, on Plum TV network in Nantucket (in June 2008), and Martha's Vineyard (February 2008) MA. Mari and Patsy have inquired as to whether a video is available to watch as with some other films featured on "Filmstock", and if there will be more broadcasts of the film's promo spot.
03/15/08: This is one film I am really looking ahead to, so I wrote to director Amy Hobby at Washington Square Films. Right now the film is still in post production. It will be a while.
