danger spoilers! i never noticed this before when I would watch it but anthony is right when he believes he is only lucky to have gotten his chance to get out of living poor.if that teacher hadnt liekd his story so much she wouldnt of sent it into that contest and he wouldnt of won the prize. and so what anyway, only 3rd place.
this movie always makes me mad for Sunny james because sunny deserves a chance to and he didn't get one. i hate that principle when seh says to anthony your friends are no good and yo're better than they are. what a crock of shit! that's preetty damn hateful to say about poor kids who just need a helping hand and a little understnding! it just makes me mad. all sunny needed was someone to reach out to him and say they give ashit!
I cant watch this all taht often cause I get so pissed about it, its a true story to so it makes me even madder. good thing Jeremy's only acting cause when he dies I get so sad and so mad to! everyone treats sunny like they are his personal whipping boy, his dad, the cops, his teachers (well come on you dont see them but if there like taht principle, they dont give a rats ass do they!) that f*ckin' judge. only anthony and Cj seems to care about him a little.
i'm just mad cause it shouldnt of happened that way. i found myself hoping all the people who treated sunny liek shit will burn in hell!
i can sum it all up to say i love the movie but it makes me really mad and its one of jeremys best work of all. sorry about my typing.
