We're all watching this one now can't wait to see Bonny's and Heidi's. As for me, this movie is really good in a lot of ways but there are some things that dang, bug me a lot. For instance, why does Ray seem like Forest Gump? Or is it Porky Pig? WTF is wrong with Sonny's dad? Is it me or does he seem more inbred than the guys from wrong Turn? Does Anthony ever wash his hair Jesus! Does Sonny? Maybe there's no running water. Ok and is it me, or is this movie a lot like the outsiders with the 'greasers' and the 'soches'? Even the ending almost exactly replicates that of Dallas Winston (by Matt Dillon). Marisa Ryan is hot and I never mind a hot sex scene (I'm a guy so I'm a horny pig as my wife says) but for some reason this one just creeped me out. Maybe it's me. Maybe there's something wrong with me! Or maybe its because she and Sisto were married at the time of the filming. I guess there must be something wrong with me.

Now for the pros: it sucks you into its world of trailer trash hicks with its Southern scenery of rivers, drained swamps and gritty sets, the supreme Souther music of mournful fiddlers, rock and bonafide blues, and honestly good actors and writing. I was shocked to see Jaime Pressly in serious role for a change. Sisto did a good job, along with Cole and Jonathan Banks, Grace Zabriskie and Veronica Cartwright good as she is, bugs me as much here as she did as the psycho Mom in Six Feet Under. Director knows his stuff and told his story effectively. At the end it's dedicated to 2 friends, not named Sonny or Gary.

Not bad. 6/10.
