trash

still caps

Added 07/16/09: Thank you to Lissa for finding these great still caps from the film!!! Go to LostInThePast.net, page 5. There are 4 galleries total of stills from the film from beginning to end, and each gallery has 6 or so pages each, so if you think you have only seen stills from a fraction of the movie (like I did at first) that means you've only seen one portion of this huge collection! Lost In The Past is a fansite for those who love young film stars and "teel idols" of past and present : )

"Trash depicts the fine line that exists, in the rural South and anywhere, between destruction and redemption." Michael Miliard, Boston Phoenix

"[A] gritty account of two poor boys in rural Florida whose lives are irreparably changed after witnessing a friend's death." Jonathan Crow, All Movie Guide

"Surprisingly accomplished in all aspects… effectively unsettling...The truth is always more complex than it first appears in Galluzzo's sparkling script." David Hunter, The Hollywood Reporter

"...a potent coming-of-age drama set on the wrong side of the tracks in a small Southern town." Kevin Thomas, Los Angeles Times

"Heart wrenching...an emotional roller-coaster ride that explodes upon social class differences, emotional abandonment, and the bonds of friendship..." Michelle, amazon.com

"...an all-too-accurate picture of what it's like to be a teen in the modern rural south...this movie will delight, frighten, nauseate and amaze you with its accuracy." Todd Taylor, Anti-Hero Art Movie Review

"Writer-director Mark Anthony Galluzzo offers an impressive first effort..." Daniel M. Kimmell, Variety

"Surprisingly emotional, gripping & engaging...Jeremy Sisto gives a superb & immensely believable performance." LunarVision, IMDb.com

"Mark Anthony Galluzzo’s [film is a] sensitive portrayal of teenagers grappling with issues of class, loyalty and taking responsibility for their own destinies." AltSyn

"The budget for this film must have been about 80 bucks and yet it is more entertaining than about 90 percent of the big-budget films you will watch this year. Bottom line: A nice character study about the burden of dreams in a dead-end town." Altreel.com
