I always liked this movie and its kind of a Xmas movie although its not obvious until you notice the Santa or the elf or whatever on the stage in the club Sasha's Ashes perform in. Plus Alex gives the homeless guy some money and says merry Xmas to him. Its fun to see the city for how it really is in a film. It get really teary eyed watching this movie and it never fails. there's just something exhilarating about having the urge to just break down & cry, but being able to hold back and just sort of choke up.

This movie reminded me of the show six feet under a little. Its about a womans death, her husband left behind to try to survive it, and friends who support him. I wondered where Alex family was, no family at all? That kind of made it even sadder for me. its not as good as six feet under, but it gives me that same invigorating feeling about how life and death are such a "partnership" I guess.
