04/26/08: I'm a nearly 2 mos. late with this, but WAITRESS has been avail on DVD in Japan since March 7, 2008. For anyone interested in getting a movie tie-in recipe book, it seems that one comes with the DVD in Japan. However, some retail sites in Japan seem to be saying that the DVD and book are only in limited edition. I ordered a DVD from Amazon.jp, to see if I will get a cookbook with it!
