What a great legacy

There are really great reviews about "Waitress" so I only can add that it is one of the most beautiful and moving stories that I have seen lately on screen.

Being a fan of one of the actors, I have been following this project since 2005. I did not know the work of Adrienne Shelly but Hal Hartley's movies were quite popular in my country in 90's. Shelly has done a great movie, a really good story about the research of happiness and the braveness of a woman trapped in a terrible marriage. Jenna is a nice gift for an actress and I think Keri Russell plays her lovely role with charming and credibility.

Despite Keri Russell steals the movie, the whole cast is fantastic: Jeremy Sisto plays a convincing immature and stupid husband (the scenes of the unhappy marriage sharing bed are ontological); Nathan Fillion plays the man who gives Jenna not only love but also faith and courage for making a living without a husband who doesn't love her; Hines and Shelly are two lovely waitresses; grumpy Old Joe (marvellous Andy Griffith) is great...

So, I highly recommend this movie because it is beautiful and the best and great legacy of Adrienne Shelly.
