WITHOUT LIMITS

Motivation like you will never see...

By T Paran, Brighton, England, 21st April, 2006

Steve Prefontaine. I'm in awe about what to say about this man. This was a man in complete belief about himself and what he could do. People saw him as a cocky American that liked to talk trash, and that was it. Look around at sports culture today and is it possible to find an athlete that does not talk trash? Here's the difference between Pre and other athletes... Pre always backed his talk up. Billy Crudup gives a phenomanal performance as Prefontaine, even looking like a mirror image of the Olympic athlete. Donald Sutherland delivers a spot on performance. This movie is not about the cockiness fo a man. But about the ambition, motivation, and perserverance that one man had for himself and what he could do. It is amazing to see that one person can believe in himself so much to the point that he will make sure that he accomplishes whatever goals he sets. This is a film produced by Cruise/Wagner... interesting. Tom Cruise saw this man as a running idol and paid his homage through this production. A great motivational film to watch. You will want to get up and run 10 miles after you watch.
